Just published: Two articles on „AI and Unfair Competition Law“ in the GRUR

The use of artificially intelligent systems and applications can have unfair consequences. The discussion on its regulation is still in its infancy. The article provides an introduction to the technical and economic foundation, the peculiarities of artificially autonomous market conduct and the most relevant cases of “artificial unfairness”. Against this backdrop, it attempts to provide an outlook to the future of unfair competition law in the age of algorithmic-digital marketplaces.
