On 11 and 12 November 2024, the annual conference of the German section of the IIAS took place at the premises of the German County Association in Berlin, which organised this year's annual conference together with the German section and the Municipal Community Centre for Administrative Management. The conference focused on the possibilities and limitations of using AI applications in public administration. The opening lecture on ‘AI in public administration – application scenarios and legal issues’ was given by Prof. Dr. Margrit Seckelmann.
