Prof. Dr Maximilian Becker followed a call from the University of Siegen. Prof. Becker had held the Chair of Data Protection Law and IT Law since the winter semester 2019/2020. During his time at IRI, he had a significant impact on research and teaching. We wish him all the best and much success in his new position.
Prof. Dr. Margrit Seckelmann was appointed to the Chair of Digital Society Law and Prof. Dr. Tim W. Dornis, J.S.M. (Stanford) to the Chair of Civil Law and Intellectual Property. Professor Seckelmann joins us from the German Research Institute for Public Administration, Professor Dornis from Leuphana Law School. We look forward to their future time together at IRI and welcome them both warmly.
