The Rise of Algorithm Hyperpowers: A Transatlantic Comparison of Legal Structures and Regulatory Policies.

 

Professor Dornis is a fellow of the Transatlantic Technology Law Forum at Stanford Law School since June 2021. His contribution to the forum in Stanford is entitled "The Rise of Algorithm Hyperpowers: A Transatlantic Comparison of Legal Structures and Regulatory Policies". The interdisciplinary and comparative law study asks about the short-term effects and long-term consequences of Big Data based algorithmic personalisation on private autonomy, especially in consumer transactions on the internet.
