Jacques de Werra, LL.M., Professor of Contract Law and Intellectual Property Law at the University of Geneva, founder of the Centre de droit du numérique/Digital Law Center.
The forum interview in the January issue of SJZ addresses the question of whether copyright infringements occur during the training of generative AI models. This question is the subject of intense international debate, numerous court proceedings are pending worldwide, and some courts have already issued decisions.
