International Conference: Commons, Users, Service Providers
From 17th-18th March 2009 the international conference "Commons, Users, Service Providers - Internet (Self-)Regulation and Copyright", hosted by Prof. Dreier (Karlsruhe), Prof. Spindler (Goettingen) and Prof. Metzger will take place in Hannover.
The conference deals with "Users - Limitations and Exceptions in European Copyright Law", "ISPs – Liability of Internet Service Providers: A European Perspective" and "Commons – Free Software, Free Content, Open Access" with a focus on the alternative models of regulation, self regulation and different models of regulation in copyright issues.
The speakers will come from a number of European countries and the United States. They will be:
