News from ACGT

Tina Kruegel participated in the Workshop on European-Japanese Research Collaboration in Medical ICT which was held on the 14th and 15th of September 2009 at Hokkaido University. Tina presented a topic on "Law, ethics and security for networked medical data". The workshop was organized by Hokkaido University which is a member of the ACGT project consortium where IRI is the working package leader regarding legal and ethical issues.

Prof. Nikolaus Forgó and Dr. Tina Kruegel recently participated in the ACGT Consortium Meeting in Homburg/Saarland, Germany (2nd-5th November) where Prof. Forgó outlined the legal and ethical concerns of  the project to the External Advisory Board (EAB). Finally, Prof. Forgó presented the current situation of the legal and ethical issues on the ACGT-review meeting in Brussels on the 3rd. of December.
